Hormone therapy changes the way hair grows, but it doesn't eliminate
existing hair follicles.
• Testosterone often increases hair density and coarseness.
• Estrogen may slow growth and reduce density and coarseness over time.
While hormones affect future growth, electrolysis permanently destroys
existing hair follicles. The only FDA recognized method of permanent
hair removal.
